We got first class Eurail passes because they were the cheapest deal. But now I never want to travel any other way. We just came from waiting in the first class lounge in the station--cozy chairs, peaceful, wifi, free food and beverages--sure beats our original plan of going into a Macdonalds for the Internet.
Now we're on the train to Oslo. Fruits, drinks, lots of legroom, and few other passengers. First class is the way to go! It's going to be a shock to my new elite sensibilities to join the masses with our second class Britrail passes.
Freebies in the first-class lounge. And wifi!
